Alice had knelt down to be on the level of the baby in the stroller and her normally stoic demeanor had given way to funny faces, driving the baby to relentless giggles. It was a good thing the rest of the Lady Greyhounds had blurred into the crowd so they couldn’t see the awe burning its way onto Gemma’s face at the scene.
