Summary
After 500 years of nightmares and trauma. Aether woke up in Teyvat after losing his sister to the unknown god and feels guilt for not being enough for her. Of being a terrible brother for her. After all, what kind of big brother lets his little sister be taken away?
He tries to find her all over Teyvat, Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan, Snezhnaya, all of them, just to find the sister whose brother cares for the most.
But the journey won't be his alone. Perhaps a god of unspeakable loneliness will join. Or a wandering samurai with no place to belong, or...an outrider who never gives up on anyone. They all join for their own reasons, but together they are family.
None of them leave each other.

He missed them. The constant noise was dangerous, but it was also safe. He'd gotten used to falling asleep with the other's breathing and their snores. The gentle magic that brushed his own.
When he's in town, he'll see Wind in the kids. The way they laugh, their innocent smiles (Wind wasn't innocent. None of them were. They just had the bliss of childhood), their ignorance.
When he goes to the castle, he can't help but see Wars in those soldiers. Even if they are terrible, they have something in common with his brother.

Summary
“What is this?” Four interrupted, staring into the classroom with a growing sense of dread. The people inside were rotting. Their skin had turned yellow, bones visible where skin was torn off. Some were eating their own skin, bits that hadn't completely rotted yet. Blood and flesh between their teeth, unintelligible moans of desperation from the ones clawing at the window where Link stood.
Zelda joined them, watching the person leave scratch marks and blood on the glass, tearing their own nails apart.

Summary
It starts, like most things concerning Zuko do, with Aang innocently mentioning it during one of his visits to the Fire Nation.
“You know what would be cool for you to start again, Zuko?” Aang says while playing with the turtleducks.
“What would that be, Aang?” Zuko asks, sitting up from his slouch and crossing his legs.
“The lantern festival,” Aang says.
Or,
Aang shares with Zuko a bit of his past, and Zuko decides to bring back an age-old celebration. Loosley based off the time my friend and I went to a Tangled-esque lantern festival and it was beautiful. -

Summary
Part of Katara wants to tell him that it’s nothing, she’ll deal with it and then be out in a few minutes. After all, it seems strange to be so frustrated and upset because her hair isn’t cooperating with her, when there are so many other things for them to be focused on.
But then again, Katara remembers when they were younger, after mom died and when dad was there but not there, and Gran-Gran’s hands would ache with the cold, that Sokka would gently and quietly help Katara comb and braid her hair before she learned to do it herself.
Or, Katara is frustrated that her hair won't do what she wants (we've all been there), and Sokka offers to help.

“Are you really busy right now?” Zuko asks softly.
“No,” Sokka says. “Just reading some articles, nothing really important.”
Zuko hums, looking like he’s thinking something over and pouting out his lips as he does so. And well, is Sokka just not supposed to kiss his wonderful boyfriend when he’s so close and pouting like that? Sokka leans in and presses a quick kiss to Zuko’s lips, which seems to decide something for Zuko; because he pulls back with a soft smile and climbs into Sokka’s lap on the chair. He loops his arms around Sokka’s neck and snuggles in close, resting his chin on Sokka’s shoulder.
Well, that’s fucking adorable, Sokka thinks.

Steve and Robin’s friendship starts on a bathroom floor.
Or maybe it started before that. Maybe it started in that cold room where they were tied together and drugged. Maybe it started when Robin spat in a Russian soldier's face for threatening Steve. Maybe it started when Steve put all the attention on himself so the Russians would take him first and leave Robin alone. Maybe it started when they were being dragged to their certain doom. Maybe it started in that long hallway they walked for what must have been hours. Maybe it started when they were locked in that elevator for over a day. Or maybe it started before all of that.
However it started, Robin and Steve’s friendship was solidified on a cold bathroom floor.
What a way to start the best friendship in history.
