    Summary

    Probably gonna be a collection of ficlets about IruKiri in Human!AU.

    A few things about this series:
    1. This is set in the official Human AU. That means that Iruma is a news reporter and Kirio is a dentist, etc etc. Needless to say, I consider all the working characters as adults in this AU.

    2. While Kirio is still very much a sadist and still very much enjoys faces of despair, in this AU he is a lot better socially adjusted and has basically learned to find (relatively) harmless and more useful outlets for his desires. He isn't exactly a goody-two-shoes either, and a big reason why he isn't as evil as in canon is mainly because he just considers it too much trouble for too little benefit.

    3. Because of this Iruma's and Kirio's dynamic is a lot more peaceful, and overal this AU is rather fluffy.

    4. For potential future fics: some other character dynamics are adjusted too. For example, Iruma isn't exactly family with Sullivan and Opera, though he still considers them his mentors and deeply important to him, and specifically Sullivan as his (grand)father figure.

    “A demonstration?” Jon asks, and the words come out very level, very careful. He’s still frozen in the same position, like he’s afraid he might spook off a bird that’s miraculously landed on him by moving.

    Tim opens his mouth to reply, but only manages it on the second try.

    “Yeah,” he says. “Hands on, you know. Let you get to see the thing for yourself.”

    “And you would be tying up…” Jon says, trailing off into a silence that begs to be filled, answered.

    “You,” Tim confirms, and he thinks he sees Jon shiver as he says it. “I couldn’t-- can’t tie myself up, after all.”

    “But I can’t-- I don’t do that,” Jon says, as if remembering himself. He almost sounds disappointed. “I don’t-- I don’t enjoy sex. I’m very certain of that much, I made sure. I can’t--”

    “Who said anything about sex?”

    Tim shows Jon the wonders of bondage.

He might be trying to do just that, Iruma realizes a beat late; they both get strangely competitive with each other in a way he’ll never quite understand.
