Summary
Izuku slowly drifts towards the back edge of the building, as if drawn by some invisible force. He gazes down into the abandoned alley below, full of trash cans and rats most likely. Bakugou's words replay in his head, over and over again.
Take a swan dive off the roof.
For the first time in his life, Izuku doesn't overthink his decision.
Instead, he pivots on his heel, inching them closer to the edge. With outstretched arms, Izuku tilts his body backward.
He falls.
TLDR - Izuku decided to take Bakugou’s advice and attempts to kill himself, but the next day he wakes up unharmed and very confused.

“Mom… can we look for a different middle school? I don’t want to go to Aldera.”
Inko blinked, taken aback. “But all your classmates from elementary are going there.”
“That’s kind of the problem,” he said, careful to keep his voice steady. “I think… maybe I should try something new. Find a place where I can focus on something else.”
There was a pause. Then, slowly, her shoulders relaxed. The tension in her face melted into visible relief.
“Oh, Izuku, that’s wonderful!” she beamed, mistaking his resignation for maturity. “I’m so proud of you for moving on from those childish dreams.”
Childish dreams. He nodded silently, biting down on the bitter taste in his mouth.

Because he remembered things about him, but he forgot things about who he really was, where he came from, how he lived, why and with whom he lived. It was as if he had left everything that bound him behind.
He knew he was 12 years old, was he? did he? he knew that he worshipped heroes and that he wanted to save people?
Because he wanted to save them, they deserved to be, they deserve what they lived, what they will live. Why wasn't he being saved?

"Stop!" he yelled, the words ripping itself from his chest, even though he knew the monster wouldn't listen to him. He ran all he could towards the nightmare given physical form standing over Aizawa, watched the nomu lift Aizawa's head up and...

Izuku is reckless. He knows that. Everyone knows that. So it doesn't come as a suprise to anyone that he throws himself into the fight against the nomu in an attempt to save his teacher. What does come as a surprise, though, is when the nomu actually listens to him.
