Summary
Six years with her. Six years without her. Two years with her. And now-
Well, Ekko’s not going to let it be two years without her.
It's why he's been ruthlessly searching for months.
Six months ago, she vanished with a note that said ‘I'm a jinx and I can't let myself hurt you. Goodbye.’ He later learned a new recruit named Milo (the irony isn't lost) had cornered her and told her she was a ticking time bomb. She'd believed it and vanished into thin air, and despite Ekko’s desperate attempts to find her, she's very good at not being found when she doesn't want to be.
So he's tracked every lead, every rumor, every single hint, and that's how he's here.
In the deepest fighting pits in Zaun.
(Basically, Jinx ran away from the Firelights and got herself in a bad situation, and Ekko winds up forced to make them mates with a bite to save her. This leads to chaos as they develop a psychic bond, Ekko has to save her life again, and they're both disaster scientists fighting biology.)

Summary
the girl was laughing. though jinx couldn't hear it, she knew it was pretty- soft, maybe, but pretty. all teeth. the kind that said look at me, fall for me, don't you want to? and ekko was looking.
she could see the way his face was set. like he was trying, trying his hardest to feel something. the girl said something else with a gentle smile, batting thick lashes that jinx could see even from her post. his eyes weren’t guarded, weren’t annoyed or distant. there was effort in them.
she'd seen that face before. the face of a man forcing something that just didn't fit.

Summary
Ekko has spent the last few years building a quiet and stable life for himself and his daughter, Isha. Until one one night, he wanders into a strip club looking for nothing more than a drink and meets Jinx, a beautiful stripper who has mastered the art of keeping people at arm's length.
Despite every reason to keep their distance, the two find themselves drawn to one another, embarking on a slow journey towards something neither of them ever thought they could have.
Determined to know the person behind the walls she’s built, Ekko finds himself falling headfirst into a world far more complicated than he imagined. While the closer Jinx gets to him, the harder it becomes to keep her distance.
What happens when a man who’s spent years being everything everyone else needed him to be, and a woman who’s spent years believing she could never be loved at all, decide to put themselves first?.

Summary
He felt like all of the air had been trapped in his lungs, like the world had frozen in this moment. It was like seeing a ghost, one he had thought could only still haunt him in his dreams. Only after sitting in silence and staring at her for a few long seconds, did he realize she was staring as well. Her darkly painted lips parted in a gasp, but she still didn’t speak. She seemed frozen to the spot, as if she couldn’t believe what, or rather who, was in front of her. Only when she started to back away, a hint of fear painting those haunting eyes, did he finally catch his breath.
“Jinx?”
