Summary
Suguru had half his head out of the window, his hair tied up into a rare high ponytail. Sweat stuck to his clothes, warm and just annoying enough for Suguru to let out a pained groan.
Satoru seemed to share his sentiments, “Fuck. Why did we decide to leave on the hottest day of the week?”
“Because that motel was quite literally infested with rats,” Suguru snapped back, though his own burning agitation was catching up to him. It really was too hot to do much besides stay inside and soak in air conditioning, “Why is your air conditioning so weak?”
“Don’t blame my car!”

Summary
“Satoru Gojo has… passed away.”
Geto just blinks.
Ijichi continues, like the good employee he is. “Legally, you’re listed as his next of kin, so—”
“Wait—hold on.” Geto’s voice sharpens. He shakes his head like he’s trying to knock the absurdity loose. “What? Go back—What did you just say?”
Ijichi takes a breath and starts again. “Gojo is… dead.”
Geto shakes his head immediately. “No, that’s—is this some kind of joke? You’re fucking with me. This is some… this is just one of his—”
Ijichi doesn’t speak. Just shakes his head. The lie is heavy in his throat.
Geto’s smile crumbles. “Oh my god.” He takes a step back like the floor moved under him. “Are you serious?”
Who needs proper communication when you can fake your death and leave your kids to gather intel on your ex?

Summary
“You know, I always hated the rain. I hated how every time I felt it, it reminded me that I was vulnerable. Vulnerable without my Infinity, vulnerable because I was weak from him, and because I was…” Satoru's voice trailed off, pausing for a quick and heavy moment. “I was without you.”
“And trust me, I was thrilled to know you were leaving to better yourself, really.” He said, walking closer to him as if a magnet was forcing him closer and closer and Suguru hoped the force would never stop, “But my God… I wanted you back as soon as I saw your plane leave. I just…”
“I just can’t imagine a day where I don’t want you.” He finally said, throwing his arms in the air and letting them drop back down in a gesture of surrender. “I’m in love with you. I never stopped.”
How Gojo and Geto finally confessed their love after 10 years of being broken up, and the steps it took to get there (with the 'help' of their meddling friends and students).
