Summary
After the cycle resets, Dan Heng finds himself alone. So he waits and reflects.
"Another minute. Another hour. Another day. Another year. Time seems to melt and blur into itself until it becomes one endless, indistinguishable mass. Every time he closes his eyes he almost wishes they wouldn’t reopen, that he could stay in that world of worn memories, its sights and sounds a familiar path he has trod many times. In that world, his friends are laughing and fighting, there is danger but they are together. In that world, he’s not alone.
In that world, there’s Caelus."

Summary
"To someone who looked to the present, and not the future, Wise was a painful reminder. Each of those cuts drew the yearning to the surface, the dreams of a future that could never happen, of a long life with someone he cherished by his side, laughing as they grew old together. Yet as painful as it was, the idea that he might rob Wise of such a dream cut deeper than anything else.
He couldn’t hurt him like that."
Sometimes Harumasa is a little too selfless and Wise is a little too cautious. Luckily they have people around to talk sense back into them.

Summary
“You see, there’s something about having you wearing something associated with me that I can’t seem to shake off. But if you’re so opposed to gifts,” Harumasa said, coming around to stop in front of Wise, leaning into his space and dragging a slow finger under Wise’s chin, “we could make it more literal.”
Harumasa has developed a habit of giving Wise gifts. Wise decides to ask him about it.

"Kind, gentle Wise, his soft edges armored with sharp metal and jagged layers…
Harumasa wanted to touch. Explore. Cut his palms on contradictions until he found the biting sarcasm and blunt force he knew the other was capable of."Harumasa is bored at a Section 6 photoshoot and decides that calling in the Proxies to fill for some absent models will be an entertaining way to pass the time.

Summary
"Looking cute, Crow!"
Goro's ears are ablaze as he grits his teeth.
He's irritated beyond comprehension, immobile, mortified - in complete and utter disbelief over the fact that he can barely remember anything about his first kiss with Joker since his brain completely shut down during that. Not even counting the fact that the little shit fucking planned this.
He's-
-he's so going to get it back.

notforced to kiss a lot because that's the only way they can open these stupid mistletoe doors in the laboratory.- Language:

Summary
"All right," says Akechi, settling grimly into his booth seat like he's getting ready for a war. "I'll entertain your misguided opinions. What elevates Black Condor above every other Featherman not just in the current flight, but in every other flight that's ever been on the screen?"
And once again Ren is staring the awkward truth in the face. I'm not really into Featherman. I lied the other day. I just couldn't cope with living in Tokyo without you, so I had to take weird measures, haha. Yeah, you're right, it is pretty pathetic. No, don't leave.
It starts when Ren buys a Featherman keychain in memory of his rival. No problems so far, except that his rival is dead, and Tokyo is a hollowed-out husk without him. But when Ren runs into Akechi at a midnight premiere, the landscape changes, and he's faced with his biggest challenge since he killed his last god: Convince Goro Akechi that he likes Featherman.

Summary
Ren stares at the light-up dartboard. "This is our rematch?"
"Indeed." Akechi turns and levels a serious look at him. "Do you have a problem with that?"
There are many problems with it. "I thought you meant, like, in the Metaverse," Ren says. "Like we were going to go beat each other up."
"Well." Akechi flips his hair out of his eyes and opens up a fancy little case with his fancy little darts that let him somehow always throw bullseyes. "That's your fault for making the wrong assumption, isn't it?"
"It's your fault for being evasive and unclear," Ren argues. Rather futilely, but it's the thought that counts.
Akechi's eyes dance under the fluorescent lights—oh, Ren's definitely being laughed at now. "701. First to zero wins. I'll even be a good sport and let you go first."
