Finally, Aether can accept the offer. “Yes. I’ve missed you,” he admits softly and bends down to kiss Venti’s knuckles, golden eyes shining with anticipation and obvious affection.

Tighnari felt his resolve slowly melting alongside it.
“Flattery is meant to be reinforced with flowers. Since you didn’t bring me flowers… shall we discuss this tomorrow?”

It just so happened that over time, Tighnari no longer perceived gifting flowers as a romantic gesture.
However, with Albedo… Seeing them in a different light proved to be quite difficult.

Summary
It's the first winter after Pitch's defeat. Jack is happy, he's not alone anymore, and his memories are gradually returning. But when a treasure hunt gone wrong puts Jack and Jamie in danger, flinging them through time and space, they find themselves on an island neither of them have heard of before. Jack's first priority is to get Jamie home safe, but Berk's inhabitants - human and otherwise - are certainly not making it easy.
Knowing they will leave Berk and the Vikings behind as soon as they know how to, Jack is not going to risk the pain of growing close to any of these people (or dragons, for that matter). But Hiccup Horrendous Haddock, wearing his heart on his sleeve, doesn't seem to want to take the hint.

He has certain familial obligations that have gone unaddressed for too long. Specifically, an orphaned nephew who needs him. Much as he will miss the Durin's Day celebrations, and a certain dwarf in particular, his travels must end. Fortunately, that does not preclude others from traveling to visit him.
