Summary
Steve jerks awake, sitting up so quickly that Robin almost topples over and staring wildly around the room. When his gaze lands on Eddie, he blanches visibly.
“Oh, shit,” he mutters. “Come on, no. Come on. Not again.”
“Harrington?” Eddie asks slowly. He does not love the way that Steve is staring at him right now. He really doesn’t. Steve looks like he’s staring at a ghost, a bloodied monster, like Eddie is something that should not exist in the light of day. “You good, dude?”

Summary
June 1986
Steve is lonely. He’s always been lonely, honestly. An empty house, absent parents, friends that didn’t really know him. Frankly, he probably doesn’t really know himself, either. It used to be easier to ignore—between sports and parties and searching for the next girl to hang around with.
Then Nancy Wheeler told him he was bullshit. In the wreckage of the storm, he realized she probably hadn’t been that off base to call his life bullshit.
[Life in Hawkins, Indiana is boring, ordinary, no supernatural entities. Steve still changes.
Luckily, he still makes some new friends, too. Certain people are simply meant to be in the same story.]

Summary
After everything that happened during Spring Break, life for everyone in Hawkins returned to somewhat normal. Well, aside from Steve's new friendship with one Eddie Munson.
The gang decide they all deserve a break and head to Steve's family beach house for a week, featuring copious amounts of fluff, found family bonding, blurring (or completely ignoring) the line between platonic and romantic, and bullying being considered flirting.

Summary
Inspired by @wlwsqk on Twit: "he met a boy and fell in love during summer camp when he was young and they wrote to each other all year round, waiting for summer again. but then steve's dad found the letters, and the other boy never knew why he never got another letter, or why steve didn't come back to camp'
Eddie got 1 perfect summer when he was 11. He met a boy with big brown eyes and hair like sunshine. They spent every day together and promised to write until they met again at camp. And they did, until, 2 months before summer, the letters stopped. Eddie’s last few came back 'return to sender'. At camp, the bunk beside him housed an unfamiliar face.
Now he’s 17, shipped off to Hawkins to live with his uncle after his dad screwed everything up. On his first day, he walks into homeroom and there he is: Steve Harrington. Eddie still had the old letters, tucked safely in a shoebox under his bed, rereads them when the world feels too big and lonely, remembers flower crowns and being told he looked pretty.
He stepped towards him eagerly, expectantly, hoping for that same sunshine smile, the flame of recognition.
Steve just wrinkles his nose. “Do I fucking know you?”
Well. Fuck you too.

Summary
This was Steve's favorite part of school. The part where he could show off how hard he was trying. The part that reaffirmed what everyone knew: Steve Harrington is perfect.
"Answer number five for us, Mr. Harrington."
Steve stood and answered the question on the board. Professor Evans nodded, and he sat back down, feeling accomplished.
"Mr. Munson? Number six."
Steve glanced over to the student in question. New, he had to have been. His long dark curly hair, eyeliner, and silver rings clashed with the neat and tidy uniform. He didn't budge. He stayed firmly in his seat and stared the professor down.
