Primarily, he resumes his duties as a member of the Fatui, like normal. One day he gets called into his superior's office to have a talk, little did he know what would happen next.

As soon as the Scaramouche heard the click from the door and the key turning, he drove right into the couch and grabbed the remote to change to another channel he knew Dottore wouldn't approve of. At the same time, Childe went back to happily playing with his bunny plushie on the floor of the play corner, sitting atop his yellow and blue foam play mat. Not far from where Childe was sitting on the mat was a box with Legos that he was going to use to build another house for his other plushies.
