Summary
~ ~ ~ ❋ ~ ~ ~
Oscar Piastri inexplicably wakes up in 2016 —no phone, no money, no identity. In a world eight years younger, his only hope is Carlos Sainz, the man who, in the future, will become his fiercest rival in Formula 1.
Desperate and out of options, Oscar seizes an opportunity born of misunderstanding: Carlos believes they’re a couple in the future. It’s a convenient lie that buys him shelter —until real feelings start to get in the way.
Torn between the desire to stay and the fear of what returning might mean, Oscar must confront the most painful question of all: How do you love someone, knowing that when it’s over, you’ll be the only one who remembers it ever happened

Summary
Lewis was never just one thing. He was an omega, a champion, a myth. No one ever really knew where one ended and the other began.
What people praised was the legend. What he wanted—what he needed—was to be known without the roar. But when love came, it came like a mirror: beautiful, unkind, and never meant to stay.
or: a story about letting go, of what it means to be chosen, and what it takes to choose yourself.

Summary
Lewis no longer remembers when it began.
The constant buzzing sound that never seemed to leave his ears, or the static filter clinging to the edge of his vision. How his skin crawled, irritated at every touch, flinching at every contact made just because his nerves were a wreck, and he forgot there were still humans around him. The agonizing headaches have been clinging to him since the moment he woke up, subsiding only a little when he's in the car. The subtle hyperventilation every time he spiralled out of thin air, then quickly pinching himself awake so he could be normal again by the time Angela came to pick him up for briefing and Quali session.
His eyes stayed planted on Charles' back, and the Monegasque was adjusting his helmet while talking to his engineers. As he always did. Lewis felt a knot in his stomach as he thought about how well he would do today.
And how his blood would stain the gravel tomorrow.Bookmarked by wistfully_x
