Summary

The one-shots in this series are not entirely standalone, in terms of narrative and emotional buildup. This series is best read in order.

Summary
Their bond, ever since Obi-Wan had gone to the Halls of Healing, sits eerily silent at the back of his mind; mute in a manner it hasn’t been in years, maybe ever. Anakin hasn’t touched it since the—diagnosis. Obi-Wan keeps running careful fingers over it, wondering if he’ll feel anything. He never does. With Anakin’s side of it so tightly shut, the once vibrant connection is void of—anything; nothing there to even give him a slight zap at the contact.
Obi-Wan has never considered himself a masochist. Now, a little pain is lightyears more preferable to the dead nothingness that’s constantly lurking around his connection to Anakin.
OR; Obi-Wan gets himself cursed and makes it everyone’s, but mainly Anakin’s, problem.
