Chapter 2
The Hellfire club
“ What the hell was that?” The long blonde teen asks and the group of Hellfire members share looks of concern. The other teens in the parking lot share whispers, small snippets about a fight floating around.
“ We are missing two of our club members. They must have been involved in a fight.” a small teen pipes up from the back of the group. The big guy in the front sighs.
“ Steve is probably with Eddie inside and if they have been in a fight, it was probably because the basketball team we're giving any trouble again” he says.
“ We will most likely have to wait for them to come outside.” The teen with the plaid shirt states.
“ Look, if you're here to hurt Steve, we won't let you, but if you truly are old friends, then at least tell us who you are.” he continues when the other group of boys don't say anything.
The long blonde glares and the others look hesitant, but share a look of agreement between one another.
“Bruce Yamada”
“Billy Showalter”
“ Griffin Stagg”
“ Vance Hopper”
The boys introduced and the Hellfire club members’ mouths dropped.
“ Hopper like Chief Hopper?” one of them asked immediately.
Vance glares but answers anyway.
“ I don't know my Uncle Jimmy is a cop, but I'm not sure if that's him.”
“ So we told you our names, can we know yours?” Bruce asked politely.
“Gareth”
“Jeff”
“Doug”
“Ronnie”
“Grant”
“ Well, since we have all introduced ourselves, how do you all know, Steve?” Griffin asked bluntly, which scared the Hellfire members who had forgotten he was there. They share a look of hesitation, but ultimately, Gareth responds.
“ We know him because he's a part of our club, our dnd club. He is friends with the leader of the group Eddie.” Gareth says shifting his gaze from each one of the other boys.
“ Steve stood up for us and helped Eddie when some of the basketball players started picking on him freshman year. Okay, he didn't have to, you know, he plays sports, is smart and could have easily decided to be some sort of super popular asshole. After that well, he joined hellfire.He didn't know anything about it, but still joined.He and Eddie have been through a lot.We won't let you hurt either of them okay.” Gareth continued trying to make sure that the other group knew he wasn't playing around.
“ Look, we aren't gonna hurt him.We traveled a long way to see him.We have known him since middle school.” Vance admits with a huff.
“ Known who since middle school?” If a girl's voice asked from behind Hellfire. A pretty girl with short brown hair steps out.
“Steve”
“ He never talked about his life before Hawkins.” the girl states coming to stand next to Hellfire, a teen with a shaggy hair cut standing silently next to her.
“ This is Nancy and Jonathan, they are friends of Steve's too. Nancy Jonathan, this is Vance Bruce, Billy, and Griffin.” Gareth explains.
The girl Nancy looks at the group like they are a puzzle to solve. The boys definitely don't need someone prying into their past or Finney's/Steves for that matter.

I can't believe he wouldn't let her come without him. He shouldn't even have her after the way he treated them. He shouldn't get to see him after all that but for me to be able to reunite them he unfortunately has to come.
I can't wait to see him in person. Talking on the phone is nice but I miss just being in the same room as him. You never know how much you miss a person till you're kept away from them.
I can't wait to see the look on his face when we show up.
