Summary
The absolute worst part about flying was the landing. Not the jarring, rubber-burning impact of the tires hitting the tarmac, but the dreadful, irrevocable finality of the seatbelt sign chiming off.
It was the sound of the spell breaking.
For five and a half hours, suspended thirty thousand feet above the continental United States, Kip Grady hadn’t been America’s Golden Boy. He hadn’t been the tragic, broken figure skater who collapsed on global television, and he certainly hadn't been the PR nightmare currently giving US Figure Skating executives an ulcer. For five and a half hours, he had just been a nineteen-year-old guy, tucked into the dim, pressurized cabin of a Boeing 757, safely anchored by the heavy, radiating body heat of the man sitting next to him.
Or:
The one where Scott and Kip return to New York and learn that sometimes it isn’t easy to keep promises.Series

Summary
Scott Hunter is 19 years old and just waiting for that call up to the show. In the meantime he’s stuck at Princeton, struggling through the second year of a degree he’s never gonna need.
A chance connection with a stranger on a hook-up app seems like a really good idea—until that one night stand is walking into his history precept as the TA.
Scott’s problems are about to get a lot less academic.

Summary
Kip Grady is on a voyage of discovery, backpacking and hitchhiking his way across the United States. He’s read all the literature, of course, on the dangers of hitchhiking, but this is not something that he’s very concerned about. After all, Kip always makes sure that he’s packed everything he could conceivably need in his backpack. But when he’s picked up by handsome Scott Hunter, it turns out that he is not the only one with skeletons (literal and metaphorical) in the trunk of his vehicle.
or - the chances of two serial killers in a car are slim but never none.

Summary
This is a story about love told out of order, between now and then, and all the ways a life can grow when (and where) you least expect it.
***
Everyone and their mother knew the New York Admirals were an all-alpha team. Absolutely no betas. Betas were considered dull at best and breakable at worst. And omegas? The very idea was treated like a punchline.
Scott Hunter knew this fact far, far too well. Because around the locker room, the word omega wasn't used as a secondary designation. It was used as a slur.
Major League Hockey only recruited alphas. Too bad Scott himself was an omega. Not that anyone knew it. And if Scott had anything to say about it, no one ever would.

Summary
Scott Hunter has always lived his life like there's a homophobic sniper tracking his every move, who gets a 'ping' any time he acts too gay. After half the government is revealed as a Nazi front, he discovers the sniper is in fact real (though not homophobic). He's now eating Lucky Charms in Scott's kitchen, saying something about a vacancy.
So Scott gets a roommate, but at least he knows he won't fall in love with this gay brunet from Brooklyn. After all, he's still hung up on the last one.

Summary
The dog – wolf? – tucks its head under his hand, so Kip’s palm is over the top of its head, between its ears. As if it wants to be petted.
Okay, Kip thinks. Fine. I will pet you. He pets it and it leans into his palm.
