Thomas Innies. The "Problem Child" in the system. That loud, overbearing 14 year old that nobody wants. Running from the homes he was placed in, only to be found nights later, sleeping in a tree or watching the stars someplace high. The adults couldn't stand it (him). But that didn’t bother Tommy. He could care less about what they think. As long as he could fight or talk his way though a situation, nothing could stop him from doing what he wanted to do. Nothing, not even if he gets abducted by aliens that want to take him apart.

He doesn't want to be here anymore. It's not fun. He wants to go home. That little stick thing that he grabbed from the floor wasn't a stick. He knows that now when the agony of being pulled apart and put back together in the matter of seconds is forced on his mind.
He should have never left.
New is bad.
Foster Care should have taught him better.

Tommy just wants the pain to stop.

I’ve reading a fuckton of “SBI humans are space orcs” fics and decided to write one myself. Where Wilbur and Tommy, who are humans, get adopted by Phil and Techno, who are aliens. This is entirely self indulgent.

Less than a Galactic Year after Tommy escapes from his poachers, he goes to travel back to Earth. He takes a detour on the way and somehow ends up on the SBI, a ship filled with two other alien kids, a ‘body guard’ Piglin, a medic Phantom, and a considerably old Elytrian for a captain. Somehow he gets adopted.
(It’s fine, humans pack-bond with anything. Even the weirdest, possibly criminal, possibly innocent, aliens.)
This is how Tommy acclimates his alien friends to the impossibility that is humans.
