the astronomy classroom, room 336, was one of the largest rooms on campus for some unknown reason. way too many tables and way too many comfy beanbag chairs. in the back corner of the room was a usually untouched table. no one usually sat there and never looked back there. until james potter laid claim to it in the morning class and regulus black laid claim to it in the afternoon class. all it takes are small occurrences and peoples lives change forever.
“hiii !!!” was written carefully into the table, although slightly messy.
“hello” was written in perfect cursive into the table.
some people think these occurrences are fate or just coincidences. the thought that people’s paths are paved and predetermined. soulmates already plucked from the bushes of roses. the theories are endless, although, most people can agree… that most things happen for a reason. even abandoned, back of the room, astronomy class table penpals.

However, this summer is different. His parents are spending it in France and therefore offer him an ultimatum: France with them, or Ontario with Sirius. France is out of the question. Which leaves a glass front lake house in Ontario. A house owned by James Potter's family, Sirius' college best friend, and as far as Regulus is concerned, a total prick.
