Summary
Harry Potter was done.
All he had ever wanted was a little less time at the Dursleys. Technically, he got his wish after the Battle of the Department of Mysteries. But he had been picturing something along the lines of a quiet holiday in Italy, not a stint in Azkaban.
One year later, Harry is released, only to discover that Italy is still very much not on the table and, somehow, he’s being sent straight back to Privet Drive.
Fortunately for the plot, Sirius decides that witnessing the murder of a classmate clearly wasn’t enough trauma for one lifetime and drops a small, life-altering detail: Harry’s parentage is not what he thought. And if Harry can survive a basilisk, the Triwizard Tournament, and Umbridge, then surely he can survive a trip to New York to get himself emancipated.
Because what could possibly go wrong?
A new job, a government interrogation or two, and an unexpected rivalry over blueberries later, Harry finds himself wondering why everyone makes such a big deal about Tony Stark.
He’s not going to be that difficult to deal with.

Instead, as he had done so many, too many times before, he said nothing. Bryce was right to laugh at him. He was such a coward.
"Dad?"
"Yes, Terry...let's go..."
Clark saw him turn away, his body doing nothing, his voice caught in his throat.
It was Dick who took action.
"We're here for you."
"I already said I'm not enlisting..."
"You're the Avatar!"

The young man stared at him, shocked.
"You... don't you remember me?" he asked, finding it simply inconceivable.
And Lance, in other circumstances, would have been amused by that reaction, but there was a little girl he had to bring back to her mother; he hadn't slept for almost twenty-seven hours and needed a break.
"No, dude, now if you want to excuse me..."
The boy turned Lance to him, their faces a short distance away, purple eyes fixed on his, and Lance's treacherous heart skipped a beat.
"Blue Spirit, I'm Red Warrior. Do you really not remember me?"
At that point, Lance began to break out in a cold sweat. Of course, he couldn't remember him. Lance wasn't the real one.
(In which, due to a stupid stunt, the seventeen-year-old Lance dies and finds himself in the body of a villain of his best friend's favourite graphic novel, trying not to attract too much attention. Too bad for Lance, Keith doesn't make things easy for him at all.)

Summary
Tim Drake never actually wanted to become part of the Robin-Batman-vigilante outfit. No, really. But the last Robin up and died, and now Batman is going crazy, and no one else is doing anything about it, so...Tim decides to become Robin. He might as well, right? At the very least it'll give him something to do while his parents are gone.
Still, Tim's not taking up the mantle until he can put a couple of things in order. Step one? Making sure the Joker can't get it into his head to kill another Robin. Not ever again. (Good thing Tim's not the one with a 'no killing' rule.)
And then after that? Well, after that it's only just a matter of keeping Batman from learning Tim's identity and subsequently chasing him off. Not until Bruce can get back on his feet and pick a new Robin, a real one this time. Easy-peasy.
Sort of.
