Tommy pulled said piece of plastic out, visibly holding it up. “I have a pen.” Something about the bemused look on the man's face made Tommy click it, and again, repeatedly.

They had been walking for so long, and Tommy’s feet hurt so much, hopping into his brother's arms when Wilbur offered. “They can not get us up here.”
Tommy yawned, leaning into Wilbur’s arms. “Who’s they?”
“Bad guys, Tommy. Bad, bad guys.”
“So we’re the good guys!”
Wilbur had laughed, drawing fingers through Tommy’s hair. “Yeah, we are the good guys, Tommy.”

He fuels this frustration into rage, because rage is the one emotion Tommy knows how to feel.

There’s something solid sinking down Wilbur’s throat, and it makes it feel like his jaw is wired shut. It’s frustrating— whenever he opens his mouth another sob comes out instead. It’s not just frustrating, it’s pathetic. Wilbur hates it. He despises the feeling that has settled itself into his chest since he had first woken up and it won’t go away.
“Trains,” He chokes out, sandwiched between gasps. It’s a single word, and it’s enough. It’s enough for Tommy.

It’s a picture.
Techno isn’t one to freeze but this— (this makes the world stop, makes the crickets silent and the wind still) makes Techno feel unmovable.
It’s a grainy, blurry photo. Techno remembers it because he took this photo of Wilbur and Tommy. Wilbur had stolen a camera he found, discarded after a fight at the mall. Sneaking it into HQ was a hassle, but Wilbur treasured that thing until it ran out of film.
This was just one photo, of many that they had taken; all of them burned with Hypixel HQ. All of them should’ve burned, this one especially, since—
Tommy had it on him when Techno killed him.
