Felix eyed his cousin warily, as if the shipper concept had just gotten to him. “Are there more than just Adrinette and Felinette in this competition?” He asked suspiciously.
“Well, there is still Lukanette, but mostly introduced by Julika, because Luka himself has joined Felinette Club since the night he saw Marinette and you dancing together as a dare a couple of months ago.” Adrien announced. “The other ships are even less important, so don’t worry about them…” And at Felix’s menacing grimace, he added. “Not that you need to worry about any of the other ones, cuz, Mari is completely crazy about you!”

At a designer banquet in London, his mother tries to introduce Felix to another girl in the hope of improving her son’s personal life, and in an attempt to get away from Amelie’s persecution, Felix decides to kiss the first girl that comes across, having only managed to whisper to her shortly that he wants her to pretend to be his girlfriend and that he will pay her for it. After a slightly longer kiss than he had planned, Felix pulls away and realizes that he had met this girl before... in Paris!It was only now that Felix suddenly realized where he had seen those huge blue eyes, and perhaps his face also reflected his recognition, because the girl’s lips tightened together in a stern confirmation.

For a moment everything turned very white, and instead of a Parisian roof, Ladybug landed on a soft sofa in a spacious living room. And before she realized what happened to her from the akuma’s blow and where she was transferred, a man entered the room at the sound of her appearance.
Marinette didn’t immediately understand who he was. She seemed to be looking at Adrien through a distorting glass, not fully understanding what was wrong with him, until the man — yes, he was definitely older than the Adrien she knew — straightened his disheveled hair and she realized who was standing in front of her.
“Felix Fathom!” Ladybug exclaimed, pointing her finger at him accusatory.
The man smiled. “I didn’t know what day it would be, just that you won’t be at home.” He said with a warm, completely unexpected smile. “Forgive my appearance, love, I just got out of the shower and barely had time to get dressed. I guess you have a lot of questions. Why don’t we sit down?” He offered hospitably.

“Class rep may not have any power over you, grumpy boy,” Alix teased, joining the semi-circle of classmates that began to cluster around Felix like an amphitheater. And since when did they all get so bold as to express their opinion to him without fear of Felix’s strict anger and sharp tongue?! “But Marinette Dupain-Cheng has.”

“My bloody name is Felix Fathom.” He said through gritted teeth, trying very hard to sound less annoyed than he felt. “Yours is Marinette Fathom. Today is the third of May 2030.” To his annoyance, Marinette looked paler with every word, and he delivered the last few words less confidently, worried about her weird reaction.

“It’s ok, Marinette,” he assured her, “We can move. Right, Felix?!” The model added, emphasizing the last words with an intonation that meant ‘Do as I say otherwise you’ll regret it’, which was rarely heard from him at school, with the exception of Lila Rosi, perhaps. This side of Adrien’s personality wasn’t common knowledge, but Marinette knew that this time around he was going to show it more.
“Fine.” Felix said as if spitting out the word. “I cannot for the life of me understand what you see in those people, Adrien.” He muttered displeasedly, but nevertheless stepped aside, letting the young designer into the classroom.
“T-thank you, A-adrien,” Marinette stuttered as she walked past the model, glad that she didn’t forget to stutter and inwardly marveling at how naive she was just a year ago when she actually reacted to Adrien the way she now feigned. With all this scam they were playing in front of the class these days, the ‘crush on Adrien’ part was much harder for her than playing enemies with Felix, as she thought it would be.
