If anyone ever found out the real reason why Hawks had darted out of the meeting, he would have been good as dead. Heroes fraternizing with villains wasn't exactly looked at in a positive light, after all, but Dabi had broken his feather, and he would have never done that unless he was backed into a spot he knew he couldn't get out of.
To make it short, Hawks wasn't about to leave Dabi when he needed his help.

Summary
Crowley and Aziraphale both should have known better than to think they could get away with thwarting the apocalypse unscathed. They stood with their hands clasped together, eyes trained on the legions of Heaven and Hell.
The only thing to take comfort in was that they had managed to lead them to the middle of nowhere, hopefully minimizing human casualties. It was a fool's dream, but maybe, just maybe.
Crowley tightened his hand around Aziraphale's.
"Our side," he whispered.
"Us."

Tim sank down by the doors to the operating room. The EMTs in the ambulance hadn't given good odds, and from what he could hear through the doors, they hadn't been lying. Truly, it was a miracle Bernard had made it to the hospital. Tim knew that.
Most people would have been dead on arrival with injuries like his. Bernard, though, was a fighter, and Tim was so incredibly thankful for that.
Or
Bernard gets shot, and the outcome is about as bad as it could be, and Tim, well, no one ever accused him of being able to process grief in a healthy way.

Summary
The forest was in view. If Tim could have gone faster and held the car on the road, he would have. The road had narrowed and started to curve around the trees. At best, they barely had a minute and a half. Preferably, the car could be in the middle of the forest when it blew, but at this point, Tim wasn't going to be picky, just so long as it wouldn't cause any civilian casualties.
Kon saw it before Tim did. There was a tree across the road.
"WATCH OUT!" He screamed.
Or:
Tim and Kon have to drive a bomb away from a busy mall, and Kon's TTK ultimately saves both of their lives, along with bringing them closer together than ever.

Summary
The room was dark. All Jason could tell about the lady who had entered his room was that she had long, dark hair.
"Hello, Jason," She said softly, and why did that voice sound familiar to him? "I'm glad to see you're finally awake."
She struck a match, lighting an old lamp of some sort. It brightened up the room enough for Jason to make out her features. Had he not been so restrained by quilts and his own unfamiliar body, he likely would have fallen out of bed trying to get away.
Or
Jason wakes up for the first time after being dipped in the Lazarus pits. To say he's pleased by what he learns couldn't be further from the truth.
