The continuity: none! These are completely unrelated to each other and just collected like this for ease of access. Order of the stories is roughly analogous to their places in time. take a knife and cut through the darkness takes place in late 2011/early 2012, "God Bless Gay America" takes place in 2013 (with a follow-up in 2019), "bishops knife trick" takes place just before the end of CATWS, "A Hazy Shade of Winter" takes place a few months after CATWS, "Some Nights" takes place in early 2015, and "i've got troubled thoughts and the self-esteem to match" takes place probably around late 2015 or early 2016.
