Chains rattle. There’s a pair of heavy cuffs around Phil’s wrists, making it nearly impossible to lift his hands. He’s in… a basement, or a cell of some kind, he thinks.
Techno’s there. Phil still can’t feel his magic, but he’s there, chained to the opposite wall. Blood trickling down the side of his face from a deep gash at his hairline.

Summary
Techno flinches away with a high-pitched whine when Phil touches his wrists. Phil gasps out a desperate sorry, sorry, but he doesn’t stop. He can’t stop. He doesn’t have time. They could come back at any second.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” he sobs out as he forces Techno’s thumbs out of joint, pulls his hands free from the cuffs. Techno is crying, too, silent and shaking and unmoving. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I’m sorry.”
He can feel the instant Techno’s core uncurls, flooding into Phil’s own. The burst of energy is enough to peel away the worst of the pains, physical and magical; Phil stumbles upright, pulling Techno with him.ai-less whumptober day 6

The car comes out of nowhere. Tommy’s body lights up with white-hot pain as he hurtles through the air, crashing onto concrete and rolling a few feet. Techno dreamed about a man with no face- with a face like dripping candle wax- wearing a huge jacket and a kind of hat like a fisherman wears, drenched in water. He dreamed he was in a boat, on a rolling ocean, in the dark with the strange man. He dreamed he was trapped in a tiny cage in a giant room that swayed like a sailing ship, curled up and hiding from a figure with skin sloughing off its skull and long long long arms.
