Summary
After World War I, the numbers of fanged blood-thirsty humans—vampires—increased significantly. Due to this, many groups and organisations of vampire hunters have been formed to send these creatures back to extinction.
One of these vampire hunters is Jikke Morumotta, who had a reputation of sending every vampires he meets into ash. That was until he met Sekyubori Kojichu, a quote ‘regular vampire’ and possibly the best and worst thing that happened to him.
I also heard people say it was just an atomic bomb that fell on Hiroshima. Hah, what fools.

Shou held his right hand out to stop Gunji from getting close even as he hacked again, keeping his left cupped over his mouth. As he was turned away from Gunji, he could safely take his hand away and see a flower bud, around the size of a date seed lying in his palm.
A shiver went down his spine and he clenched his jaw, afraid he would cough up something again. This wasn’t a mistake anymore. He would be a fool to deny the existence of this disease in his body any longer. And the target of his affection… was standing right behind him.

Akira and Sho take on a mission: pretend to be a couple for a day to draw out an alien that only appears around dating 'pairs'. What begins as a straightforward pretend mission slowly turns into something unexpectedly warm, full of awkward banter, small comforts, and moments that feel a little too real for a mission.
Akira keeps reminding himself it’s all “for the mission,” but Sho’s sincerity makes that harder by the minute. Their simple fake date starts become something neither of them was prepared for… and something that might not be fake at all.

Summary
A single flap of a butterfly wing can cause a hurricane on the other side of the world. Just as a pebble dropped in a pond spread ripples across the water. One small step can change everything.
When Gunji Akira decides to head home, forsaking any chance of getting the next volume of his manga that day, he boards an earlier train home. Missing his chances of meeting his future partner.
The next few days go a bit more differently, Akira makes it to his job interview despite the ruckus in the train cart beside him. Everything seems to be going well, he's made one friend at school, despite Tokitou overwhelming brightness. He got a job at a newly opened cafe and might join a club soon.
Life was going just as he planned, right before the black-haired boy who came in made eye-contact with him and rippled everything with two words.

The bond between them, forged through cruelty and kindness, had woven them together inextricably, a trust that neither words nor actions could fully define. And in the quiet of that fevered night, Shou finally allowed himself to rest, knowing Amamiya would always be there, watching over him with that enigmatic, ever-smiling gaze.

Then, he would delicately part Tenkuubashi's lips and place a chocolate piece into his small mouth. The sweet and slightly bitter taste gradually melted on Tenkuubashi's tongue, making his face more relaxed. And as he looked up, he caught the familiar smile on Amamiya's lips and the gaze that only held the image of him back then.
"Amamiya-san..." Tenkuubashi blinked, calling out to him.
"It's nothing, Shou-kun, I just enjoy watching you eat, that’s it." In response to Tenkuubashi's words, the man calmly watched him eat the chocolate slowly and leisurely, then concluded matter-of-factly. "Because you always look so happy whenever you eat."
Hearing that response, Tenkuubashi stood still for a moment. The chocolate had long melted in his mouth, but the gentleness from Amamiya seemed to linger on his tongue and the corners of his lips.

So, Tenkuubashi also reached out and gently grasped Amamiya's waiting hand. Now he's taller than the man, so the size of their hands was no longer much different. Thanks to the regenerative power of the Ribariba alien, Tenkuubashi's skin seemed smoother and less rough. Meanwhile, Amamiya's hand carried many scars and calluses, indicating that he has trained hard and fought long enough to be considered the strongest inside and outside of AMO.
However, Tenkuubashi was more concerned about the temperature from his hand. Cold. Very cold. Tenkuubashi has noticed this difference from the times Amamiya touched him before, but never has he been so surprised to feel the low temperature on the man’s hand. No matter how long Amamiya puts his hand in his pocket, it still remains cold. No matter how discreetly Amamiya dresses, the coldness never disappears from his hand. As if he's not human.
In reality, though, it's Tenkuubashi who's not human.
