I know the Lesse Lazulman pairing is done to absolute DEATH and that everyone's already read like a billion stories where it either is or becomes center focus, but I can't let that stop me from putting in another drop in the bucket. And no, I'm not writing this because I lost a bet or anything. Why would you insinuate that.

"Now, listen. I will be back to pick you up a couple minutes late." She said. The girl picked at a rhinestone on her jacket. "Peridot," Aurelia repeated.
"Okay." Peridot mumbled.
"Okay," Aurelia continued, "and I better not get any calls today about your bad behavior. Got it?"
"Yes mam," Peridot said quietly.
"Off you go." Her mother said with a wave of her hand.

Summary
For just over 6000 years since the Rose Quartz rebellion, the world has been divided between the Old World, dominated by the three surviving Diamonds, and the New World, where the majority of humans and gems free from the White Diamond authority live. However, in the middle of both there was a small island, The Garden. Forgotten by the hand of God, there is a gem waiting.
