“What?” It came out dumb, even to his own ears.
“The sneeze,” she said, as if it were obvious. “Sometimes a sudden shock resets the respiratory reflex. Or was it the restricted airflow? Either way, I thought a kiss might do the trick.”
His brain was pure fuzz, but he did have a genius idea., “I think… we need to try again.”
“Yes?”
“Yes,” he said, already leaning in. “I can feel it in the back of my throat. It’s coming.”
