Summary
Jiji is left broken after he came to accept that Momo would never be his. To help him heal, his mom has an idea, to make him babysit Chiquitita. At odds with this is Aira, who also had to face her own heartbreak from being rejected by Okarun for the final time, so she demands that she is allowed to watch the alien child, as well. What follows is two teens learning to heal to heal and move on, working to repair their friendships with the others, and seeing each other in a way they never did before, all while working as a duo to take care of their little alien.

Momo and Okarun are finally able to confess their feelings to each other after the former has her curse undone, but they have barely enough time to celebrate when an ancient and vile entity comes down to introduce themselves to the Dandagang. After a night of chaos leaves the Dandagang beaten and broken while one of them ends up cursed, Momo and her friends only have a week to pick up the pieces to try and confront this heinous monster, who as it turns out has a deep and horrific connection to Seiko's past.
If they fail, the lives of thousands in Kamigoe City - and millions across the world - are as good as forfeit.

Throughout the years, she had always carved pumpkins with her grandmother. Even when she'd called her a fake spirit medium, even when she had all the reasons to hate her, she didn't. Instead, she would set a pumpkin onto the table, and they would work away at the orange skin. Granny would ask about Kei and Miko. If she had any new boyfriends. How were her grades.
An unasked question that always hung in the air was if she'd ever apologize to her. Momo wasn't sure if she ever could.
