The company that ran the crew decided a way to promote the work the crew did was to make shows. There were a few different shows that starred the octonauts. There was a docuseries that surprisingly featured Coco. A few nature documentaries, filmed and produced by Dashi. And finally, the crew's newest venture, an animated show and movie series that depicted the crew as little animals.

“Well we aren’t going to be wasting time here, let’s split up! Me, Kwazii, Peso, and Dr. Inkling will go to the Gup A, Dashi and Shellington will be working together in the library to find what species the octopus is.”

Dashi and Shellington are both quote, “secretly” crushing on each other, but neither of them has found the courage to make the first move. They both long for closeness and connection, but are too shy to openly reveal their desires.
As they embark on a mission to find an elusive octopus that has evaded them and broken their octo-radar, they will be thrown into a series of challenges and situations but they will also bring Dashi and Shellington closer, forging a deeper bond as they navigate the mission together.

Heya there! This is my first work on this website, so sorry if it seems a bit wonky! I do make a lot of stories on Wattpad tho, so I'm not entirely new to writing stories. Though any type of constructive criticism could be really helpful, thank you! Ive recently been obsessed with Octonauts after re-discovering it and even though I haven't finished many episodes of it, I do have my eyes on a specific "couple". That would be Shellington, the knowledgeable and reliable marine biologist which is an otter. Paired with Dashie, the quick-thinking and fashionable computer operator, and she is a dog. I hope you enjoy this story as much as I enjoy writing it :)
