It was the first thing that Julius Erigo thinked when he created the tele-transportation technology, after creating the first portal to teleporting with no problem, he started creating a portal generator that that didn't need another portal generator on the other side and to make it portable, this because of the pressure of the Evergreen Corporation, when he was testing a prototype in the lab, it overcharged and took him to a place he never expected, another dimension that wasn't explored, very different to his, trying to fix the prototype as he can while changing physically while he survives and using it, trying to go home, travelling between different dimension that will affect him worse and worse, he doesn't know if he's going to make it home, or even as a human of sorts.

This is literally just a chat fic for BioShock. The three main protagonists, + their three companions, + three other important to the plot characters (Tenenbaum for 1, Eleanor for 2, Daisy for Infinite, because I couldn't leave them out) are all in a group chat. They all work for the same company, BioShock Inc. Science still happens, there is fighting, not everyone is happy, but it's all meant to be silly, at the end of the day.
This is purely self-indulgent, anyone who doesn't have my particular set of brainworms about this series probably won't enjoy it, or will find it weird. Yes, this does have plot.
I wrote this mostly because I was bored and depressed & thinking about silly chat-based interactions is often easier than actually sitting down and writing. I'm not giving up on my TF2 fics, I'm just trying to survive a bout of depression & writer's block that has been kicking my arse since December.

One moment Kakashi is happy with his father, the next he is dead. He can't sleep. Kakashi trains himself into the ground. He still can’t sleep. He wants to be better than his father. He still cannot sleep. The village hates him because of what his father had done. Sleep eludes him. Things change when he runs into a house.
One moment Minato is trying to figure out his student while trying to balance his duties, and then next Kakashi flipped his entire demeaner. He is still a sarcastic little menace, but he’s far more open to Minato’s teachings. He knew he made mistakes with his student, but this change in life happened while he was away.
As in: Sakura decided to become the problem, Kakashi is the problem and the solution, and Minato is the solution.

The roots of the sky grazer—Genesis—were swollen, the inner tissue inflamed, and the outer shell riddled with fissures. Genesis’s husk had tenrilated suddenly; even the old rooting filaments looked wind-burned and raw. It had begun to open, tearing itself away from the soft ground researchers had made for it. There is a knot at the base that it's revealing. A long, oblong shape in the soil. It doesn’t sound hollow; it has a dense, living rhythm. The innards whoosh and creak wetly and gurgle. There's a steady thumping from the center; it seems to be pushing the fluid within its innermost shell… There's fluid buildup from one quadrant. Enough of it that the pressure of the assumed rupture is causing distressed sounds to reverberate underfoot.
Erid has found a tree in space. They don't know what it is, but they're too curious not to study this anomaly. One day, though this has been a process, the tree bears a single fruit. Not from its braches, but from under its roots.
Simon is in the iron lung; something is tearing its way inside. -
