Its a bar, a bar called Nigel's— the sign is only a bit burnt out. The i is completely dark, as is the bottom half of the g. Elio lets out a breath resembling a laugh as he opens the door to a bar temporally called Noel's.
The bar is just as warm as it looks, a meager crowd smushed into booths nursing drinks and a bartender cleaning some glasses.
Elio looks around for a moment, his eyes catching on the piano, dust covered, sitting in the corner. It looks like it hasn't been touched in years.

His accent is still thick, long vowels and sharp consonants. Brazilian, and from his discomfort in the suit, a new arrival to Monaco as well.
Alain places the cigarette in the corner of his mouth and doesn’t even ask for a light. The stranger provides one, Alain knew he would.
