Después del levantamiento y de resolver la tormenta de nieve que azotaba a la aldea de los Rito, Link se dirige a la región de los zora para ayudar con el fenómeno del fango. El alma le escapó del cuerpo cuando supo que su príncipe de ensueño no le pertenecería más.
~~~—...Discúlpame, permíteme presentarme, mi nombre es Yona. Soy la prometida del prí… perdón, de tu mejor amigo Sidon.
La sonrisa de Link se desvaneció, dejando sus labios entreabiertos. La fuerza, su vitalidad, la vida, cayeron por un precipicio invisible bajo sus pies. El corazón le dejó de latir… No. Quizás latió tan rápido y tan fuerte que se sentía abrumado, incapaz de comprender lo que ocurría a su alrededor. Los intestinos se le removieron bajo el vacío del estómago, sus manos hormigueaban, gritando en sus oídos sordos que agarrara la empuñadura, mientras que sus piernas luchaban por colocarse en posición. Su cuerpo se preparaba para la batalla. Una que ya estaba perdida.Continuación de ''Serenata del agua: Aliento de lo salvaje'', basada en en el juego ''The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom''. Summary
Sidon approached Link, and all Link could focus on was the new collar the man was sporting. It was significantly larger than the one he was accustomed to and more ornate. It was a symbol of his engagement. His blue eyes drifted up away from Sidon's neck to his face. The shock melted from it and Sidon's arms abruptly shot up into the air.
"It's good to see you, my friend!"
No matter how long they'd been together, Sidon had continued to refer to him as "my friend". He had admittedly begun using "friend" and "love" interchangeably, but the term had never previously left Link feeling anything other than cherished.
When Link didn't say anything in response, Sidon's expression shifted again, concern washing across his face. "Link, is something wrong? Are you alright? What happened?"
'Yona told me you would be here.'

Summary
As children, Sidon and Yona had childish hero crushes on the famous hero of Hyrule, Link. They both swore they would marry him one day, but such things were pushed away as nothing more than playing pretend and childhood fantasy. The two are meant to marry each other, anyways, so says their parents, and so they move on from it. But when Link unexpectedly shows up in Zora's Domain after waking from his 100 year slumber, old, silly feelings that Sidon and Yona hadn't felt since they were tiny hatchlings come back to the surface, leaving the two fumbling as their feelings for the Hylian quickly develop into something real and serious, and Link just might be feeling the same way about them.
