Dexter Morgan is a blood splatter analyst for Miami Metro Police Department, the best one at that. Dexter Morgan is also a serial killer, one that targets his own kind. He's the best one at that, too.
Alexei L. Novikov is a secret agent for a morally questionable agency, used to doing most of the job alone. That is until they are forced to find a new field agent for their squad.
Dexter pictured himself working alone until the end of his days, feeding his Moondancer. His dark passenger.
Alexei just wants to have a decent partner, and if stalking and (very subtly) begging for the blood guy to join them is enough to get that, then that’s what they’ll do.
NOTES: CPCA is an original story that will have its own Illustrated book, but i wanted to make a Dexter/CPCA fanfic first to experiment with the characters.

Summary
A re-telling of season 1, except Brian has a long history and struggle (though he won't admit it) with anorexia nervosa, in a desperate attempt to keep some control on his life ever since he was taken away from his brother and shoved into the foster and mental health systems.
Begins with the ending of Original Sin in 1991, moving into a short scene (why did we never get this?) where Brian sees Dexter kill in 2000, and then starts with Season 1 Episode 1 in October 2006.
