As the Jedi's belly became rounder and rounder with his child, Maul found himself feeling increasingly uncomfortable being around. It was not as if it was a surprise or even an unwelcome event, after all carrying an heir for him was the only reason she was here, but... he did not know, he was not serene about it.
He was beginning to worry about what things would be like when she gave birth and it was just him and the baby.
He did not want to fail them like he had failed his brother.

Summary
Luminara and Yoda survive a mutiny on Kashyyyk, only to find greater horrors greet them on Coruscant. The Chancellor is a Sith Lord, and he has corrupted the Republic before their very eyes. Anakin Skywalker has joined with him, and Luminara and Obi-Wan go to Mustafar to face him together. Afterwards, an exile of indeterminate length seems to be their fate - save for the fact that the Force disagrees.
Meanwhile, Barriss Offee is a prisoner. She does not intend to remain that way.

Summary
Everybody has secrets, and Darth Vader too. Zam Wessel would prefer to not learn them, because people who know things the Dark Lord wants to stay hidden don’t live long. Problem is, he just recruited her for a secret mission on Naboo, when he has access to a whole network of spies.
There is something hidden on Naboo, something lethal, and Zam’s hunter senses are yelling at her that this prey could be the most dangerous ever. After all, Sabé - former decoy, former handmaiden, and very suspicious individual - is exactly Zam’s type: dangerous and ill-advised.
Now, Zam navigates way too much former handmaiden and tries to discover a spy ring, and at the same time to not get killed by her employer,
