“You were great tonight by the way,” I complimented him.
“Yeah, was a good one. Hargrove could’ve gone a bit harder,” he said with a light slur through his groans, his voice picking up in volume and I saw Billy in front of me.
“Yeah, fuck you, man. Y’know my arm’s sore,” he replied and kicked Eddie’s leg. I giggled, knowing exactly what it was from. Billy smirked at me and winked.
“Where the fuck is Harrington?”
“I saw him passed out on the kitchen island,” I said and looked in the general direction of where I had just come from, but there were just too many people in the way. “They were doing body shots.”
“Body shots and you’re here?” He asked, acting surprised. I rolled my eyes at him, pushing back into the worn out couch that was a lot more comfortable than it should have been. Billy didn’t break our eye contact and kneeled down in front of me. With the closer proximity I noticed his blown pupils.
“Did you want something else?” He asked with a raised eyebrow.
Eddie was back to sticking his tongue down the girl’s throat and I saw his hand under her skirt out of the corner of my eye.
I bit my lip, “maybe.” -

Part 4 of The Most Dangerous Thing (Is to Love), or the wholesome Maygrove ship you didn't know you needed. (Max is aged up; they met as teenagers; Billy is rough around the edges; it’s a love story even though it’s smutty.)
This sequel is basically nothing but collected one-shots with a sort-of-storyline: primarily fluff and smut as Maygrove and Hellcheer live out their happily ever afters (mostly in California). Other supporting characters will still appear. Slower updates than in previous installments. Just the occasional feel-good check-in with our favorite pairs of star-crossed lovers: "Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt." (Slaughterhouse Five, Kurt Vonnegut)

Summary
Billy is a siren and lead singer of a rock band (other members include Robin, Tommy, and Argyle, species tbd, open to suggestions). Cursed with nodes (not literally cursed cursed, he’s just being dramatic), Billy has to take a vocal break, and decides to spend that time with his foster sister Max, a phoenix approaching the end of her first life cycle. His first night there, a chance encounter with a vampire sets him on a path he never expected... but what else is new.
(The vampire is Eddie. Eddie is the vampire.)
Will Steve Harrington who I've randomly decided is a werewolf make an appearance? Unclear! I've been writing this during lunch breaks, so we'll see where the soup leads me.
