Kim Dokja returns to Seoul after living eight long years abroad with his wealthy adoptive parents, Hades and Persephone, and his adoptive daughter, Biyoo. Despite being the sole heir to “Underworld”, Kim Dokja, feeling undeserving of the title and lacking interest in running the company, attempts to get a job in his home city. While building his life, he rebuilds his relationships from the past as well developing new ones. Though, he desperately wants to reconnect with the one person who was more than just a friend, Yoo Joonghyuk. At least, until a new person arrives in his life.

Kim Dokja returns to Seoul with Hades and Persephone and decides he does not want to be a nepo baby. Along the way, he rebuilds friendships from the past and makes new ones as he settles in. He wants to reconnect with Yoo Joonghyuk but isn’t so sure when misunderstandings get in the way. That’s when Yoo Joonghyun takes up the role of second male lead.

Reading about sea adventures sounded much more entertaining. Her fingers twiddled on the hardcover before reminding herself of the score she needed and forced herself to open the book.
