    “Probably the anxiety of being thrown onto Earth,” Loki said. “Darcy was so nice to you… if I recall your, ah, rather small accounts of what happened.”

    “Quiet,” Thor snapped. Loki laughed. Stephen’s heart raced.

    “Just… help me save the world. Please,” he begged. “We don’t have much time.”

    “If things don’t end up the right way?” Loki queried.

    “Then I send us back, again, until they’re right. But we really only have one chance to fix things.”

    “Recite the spell while we have time,” he said. “And make sure you mean it.”

    “This is the only time I’m ever learning Latin,” he mumbled to himself, taking the Eye of Agamotto out and holding the Tesseract tightly. Stephen breathed in deeply, lifting both of the Stones up high.

    And just like that, the trouble started.

    Loki left Asgard, hasn't been seen since. When the Dark Elves attack the palace, he arrives just in time to save the queen. What follows is lots of snark, family arguments, a confused Jane Foster, and a Loki who has better things to do than bother to let his family know he's back on the realm for the first time in years.
    (Another Evil Author work, but I loved the premise and decided to share)

    Terrible title again, lol. Though now I'm looking at it, I'm already thinking of various little ideas where Loki does just that in a variety of situations... Hmm...

      Personally, I love soulmate au's so there'll never be enough for me. Mind you, I also adore the Spirit Animal twist so.. happy
      The Spirit Animals are only seen and can be touched by their person and the soulmate of that person. Other than that they're recognize in a soulmark tattoo on their body. If for whatever reason the Spirit Animal is ignored, it will retreat into the tattoo.

       

      Loki's snake, Jörmungandr, is green. He appeared when Loki was fairly young, he just started receiving magic lessons.
      Snakes are seen as dishonorable.
      Odin demands Loki stops showing off his soulmark, and as result Loki ignores Jörmungandr and that part of his soul in the hope of being accepted and respected by Odin and Asgard's people.

      Tony's raven, Roäc, is black. He appear when Tony was really young, 4 yo and he just finished his first circuit board.
      Ravens are associated with bad luck and death.
      Howard demands Tony stops showing off his soulmark, but Tony is petty and doesn't to spite him. As times goes on, people agree the animal fits Tony as what better animal is there to guide The Merchant of Death?
