Ok so this is my first attempt at a wide range of AUs based on some headcanons I have about the Nether, Nether species, BadBoyHalo's species, and more.
But a basic summary of this one is:
Technoblade is way younger than most of SMP thinks, and only Bad (also Sapnap) knows, because netherkind have their age indicators. And Bad is a Netherkind too.Techno is an UnClaimed cub on his own.
After a battle triggers a flashback of things Techno would rather not tell anyone, Bad (And Sapnap) finally takes action.

Summary
It's been three years since the world went to shit, how the virus worked not many had a full idea, and many more did not care beyond the fact that dead people roamed the streets desperate for human flesh. Ranboo learned to be alone, he's used to the routine, and he doesn't mind the clinging feeling of a void in his chest craving for something else. He stopped wondering whether that something is death or company a long time ago.
He's alone and experience thought him enough to know that in cases like the apocalypse loneliness is better than bad company, at least loneliness couldn't put a bullet through your chest.
Maybe finding his lost best friends whom he thought long dead could change something, maybe even get something other than spite to get him up each morning.
Or
Bench trio finds each other at the height of the zombie apocalypse, and at the beginning of the end of his life, ranboo might remember how to actually live.
This was written from 2021 to 2022 my writing of any character should be interpreted as writing only from the perspective of the canonical storyline in the Dsmp and not as support for the streamer
