Niko awoke in a strange mechanical wasteland of pipes and megafauna.
Despite Niko having been saved, carried around, and protected by Cuphead while in her unconscious state, she found no sign of any cup headed rascal anywhere.
Wandering aimlessly, they eventually come across another child taken from their own journey to this place by these portals, she had an odd power about her, as well as an... intimidating disposition.
However, Niko was otherwise alone and completely helpless, and this new person seemed to know what she was doing, so Niko, despite his concerns, decided to start following her.
Besides, after all they've been through, they could use someone to talk to.
