Here and there, some choke and wither, drowned in oceans of sanguinous blue or swallowed whole by scarlet, unending hunger. In countless worlds, there are hands in hands and hands on guns, hands on wrists as they pull, stumbling, fleeing through the streets of a tiny dying town, a sequence of streets that repeats again and again, in parallel, in perpetuity.

Pamela Foster wakes up in the hospital, confused, and has no memory of what happened. She sees police officers in her room. One of the police officers began asking questions about what happened the rest of the night, but she was having a hard time answering the questions. That's when the police told the horrifying news that would turn the Foster family's lives upside down than before. Lex has been missing. The night when they were looking for Lex, they found Pamela unconscious near the cliff while Lex's car was parked near the edge. The police said they had found a body on the lake. Could it be her? People around Pamela are now suspicious of her because Lex and Pamela had a heated argument the night Lex disappeared. People think she has something to do with her daughter's disappearance. Pamela must now recall and solve what happened to her and Lex. But obviously, that wouldn't be easy because someone is stopping them from discovering the truth. Where is Lex? Is Pamela Foster really innocent?
