Summary
A look into the many years of two fated individuals continuously by each others side. It's never that simple though, is it?
Feelings are complicated, especially when your world is already as complicated as that of a Ninja. It's not as if there's a Ninja-themed-self-help-book on a shelf in the Monastery waiting for the emotionally stunted teenagers to give it a gander. Why would they need to anyway, they accomplished so much as Ninja! Why investigate something as mundane as feelings?
Well, as established, they're complicated. All the combat training in the world couldn't prepare you for falling in love, especially not with the one training next to you for all these years.
It's terrifying, it's not just having each others back in a fight or battling for the top score, it's far too much uncertainty. There's a real chance it could fail. For all those years of knowing, caring, loving, just to start over as strangers. It's enough to keep quiet about everything.
…It's never that simple though, is it?
