Orion Pax had been hurrying out of the Archive and back to his dock for his shift when an ancient artifact, propulsed by the explosion of Sentinel Prime (with a little too much speed to be completely believable, but then again, the Matrix of Leadership was known to do strange things to fundamental physics on occasion), sailed it's way from the Primal Palace Entrance and directly into his chestplates.
Primus, it seemed, had seen a chance to get a new, better Prime to serve his children in the explosive assassination of his unchosen Prime. There was Civil War to avert, and nothing short of the most optimal Prime would do.
The Matrix was a mysterious artifact for a reason. It also never was as powerful as when the very fate of Cybertron hung in the balance. Poised on the edge of the destruction of Cybertronian Civilisation, as it was then, as it had been back during the Quintesson Invasion, the Vessel of Primus could do miracles.

Rung always felt left out, the last one in the room and the first to leave; his name always a blurred memory in someone's brain node. One night he takes a walk, wondering if the feeling of isolation would ever end. A head shot casualty from bad leadership, always fought over but not for: did the feeling ever go away?
When he and Fortress Maximus reconnect after the incident, their relationship begins to evolve in ways neither fully understands. Ethics blur while the two grow closer and Rung grows ever bolder, fed up with the way the farcical crew is operating and openly discriminating left and right. Trauma has bonded the two together and created a web of effects across the crew as the Lost Light tries to move on from their captain nearly killing one of their crew. As distrust and tension builds, Fort Max and Rung can hold off no longer.

Starscream had lost a lot before the war. Sunbeam. His sparkling. Starscream had long since lost hope that his sparkling was alive. Sunbeam had died in the ruins of Vos, and Starscream would never see him.
B-127 had been born before the war. He did not have anything left to lose by the time war broke out. Raised underground in energon mines, B-127 had not even gotten to grow into his true colors. Optimus Prime has saved him from the mines; there was never a need to look back.

Bluestreak would never forget the day Praxus was destroyed. He wasn’t sure if he even wanted to if he was being honest. If anyone asked he would say of course he would, who wouldn’t want to forget the worst thing that ever happened to him? But deep in his spark, Bluestreak knew that day would always be a part of him, whether he wanted it to or not.
Praxus was destroyed by the Decepticons. Bluestreak was the only survivor by design. Part of him wished he died with the rest of his home.
A destruction of Praxus Bluestreak centric fic because I couldn't find one that suited my needs so I had to take matters into my own hands
