This is a cross over of sorts with Dark Angel. It's only SG-1 with a little Manticore thrown in, you'll see. You don't really need to be familiar with Dark Angel to follow along, the story will explain what you need to know as we go along.
This first part is SG-1 discovering what Sam is really capable of. There is kidnapping, lots of Sam whumping, temples collapse, and friendships are tested. This is posted on Fanfiction.net as well but I've gone through and tried to fix the errors. I will say now, I am not in the medical field and I suck at math, so any errors-sorry, not sorry <3

A. Rule. Service members are eligible to be assigned to all positions for which they are qualified, except that women shall be excluded from assignment to units below the brigade level whose primary mission is to engage in direct combat on the ground.Women were not allowed to serve in all military positions until 2013. Sam Carter served in an era that still heavily restricted the opportunities of women in the military. This is a realistic exploration of the challenges that Sam faced as a woman in the U.S. Air Force prior to the lifting of the Combat Exclusion Policy on January 24, 2013.
