Summary
Canon Divergence; everyone we love is alive, but the events of Cyberpunk 2077 left wounds (both invisible and not) on all. After the final op, V and the Aldecaldos cross the border and leave Night City once and for all. Or, so they thought - a year later, V gets a call from an old friend, asking for her help. A new gang has risen from the shadows; larger and more primal than the Animals, more tight-knit than the Valentinos, more ruthless than the Tyger Claws. The Red Reapers make their debut with a bang; literally, as they start their takeover by taking out the last of Maelstrom. V returns to the city and reunites with her friends and found family, and her ex-lover, River Ward. The two reignite their relationship and continue where they left off, before V went off to her supposed death. Things seem to be looking up for V once more... but then she finds familiarity in a certain Reaper, and her world is tilted on its axis.
