Almost a year ago, V experienced a traumatic event with a man, and developed a fear of physical contact and intimacy. One day, she decides to try exposing herself to it again with the only person with whom she has always felt safe, and goes to Viktor's house on a rainy afternoon.
V slowly brought one of his hands to her face and placed it on her cheek, cupping it. She kept her hand on top of his and closed her eyes.
"Caress me," she commanded.
Viktor hadn't moved an inch before she asked, but at that moment he began tracing the shape of her cheekbone with his thumb, slowly and gently. -

I wrote this to fill the immense hole this game left in my chest—and to give my favorite broken dogs the ending they deserved.
