Summary
Three months after the World Destroyer and inhabiting the island, Hinata Hajime has rarely spoken a handful of words to Komaeda Nagito. Wanting to reignite their friendship, Hinata stumbles to even simply suggest hanging out again just like they used to within the simulation as normal. But things will never be just like the simulation again. Things have changed. And so has the relationship between them. Feelings change, thoughts become confused and muddled together. Then, a new type of relationship blossoms, slowly, but it hits Hinata's heart like a burst of fireworks.
Short: Slow burn Hinata and Komaeda romance. Long chapters, long story, planned for a long time to come. I'm hoping to write over 50+ chapters.
Currently being written. Uploaded chapters 1-14 at the same time.
Once smut is introduced, it is frequent. Enjoy.

“Ka.. Kamukura sama..?” Komaeda muttered, still in disbelief. He couldn't believe that Kamukura was right in front of him, in Hinata's body, piloting it like some mechanical robots from one of those mecha genre movies. “Is it really.. you?”
Raising a hand, he placed it on Komaeda's cheek, caressing it with his thumb delicately.
“It is me. It is really me.” Kamukura looked at him intensely, before closing his eyes and letting Hinata take back the control of the body.
Hinata didn't stop holding Komaeda's face, still caressing the pale skin with his thumb.A story in which Kamukura was never truly erased after the Neo World Program.

Hajime had nearly choked on his omurice. “What? What?”
And then, “Why the hell are you asking Nanami if it’s alright to have sex with me? Isn’t that going too far even for someone like you?”
But Nanami just hummed in agreement. “No, he’s right. I’ve never really been interested in that kind of thing.”
She paused. “I mean, I guess I’d be open to try it if you two wanted. But it seems like…a lot of work. And messy. I’d rather spend that time on something else.”“That’s our Nanami-san,” said Komaeda, that freakish sense of pride creeping into his voice.“So dedicated to her craft…doesn’t it fill you with hope, Hinata-kun?”

Some days, Hajime's self-loathing is no joke.
It feels like the heat in Jabberwock intensifies it sometimes. Sort of... bastes it. Like it's cooking in its own filthy greasy residue and making him feel all oily and gross and hot. So, so hot. Under that stupid sun he cooks, and he sweats, and he feels like they can all smell it on him.
Probably not though. He showers every day, and nobody gets close enough to try.

Summary
An old building stood on a mostly uninhabited island known as Jabberwock Island. The old building had helicopters swarming it, as well as bars over the windows and members of the Japan Self-Defense Force guarding every exit. This place was for those who were deemed too vile to reenter society. However, it was more of a lab than some establishment to keep criminals locked up.
It was a lab to see if they could make these horrible people 'better'.
It was a big experiment to see if there was any hope for those deemed hopeless, hence the name "Hope's Peaks Reformatory For The Sick and Twisted" being given to it. Of course, people either called it "Hope's Peak" or, "Hope's Peak Asylum".
In the beginning, Hope's Peak wasn't very promising. There were many failures, and were almost forced to shut down. Though, after a few more tests, they suddenly had booming success- they couldn't just bring in some average murderer that showed no remorse in there. They needed to bring in those that showed promise as talented individuals and showed at least some signs of wanting to be better.
Today, however, they felt the need to test something new. What would happen if a petty thief was mixed in with the Ultimate Despair? -
