Lloyd has come to the conclusion that Harumi, somehow, lost her memories during the Merge.
Their shared glances are brief, almost insignificant things. Like two people whose paths cross on their daily commute and begin to recognize each other, and not the kind of glances that are heavy with a deep understanding of each other’s lives.
She’s forgotten who he is.
OR, harumi and lloyd try to make amends after the defeat of the crystal king. but after the merge, lloyd finds that harumi is very different.

“It’s always true.” He’s used to Harumi’s brazen, bold statements at this point, enough so that he has the ability to keep his composure and not gape at her in shock. It still gets him every time albeit the truth of the matter. Harumi misses him. Harumi thinks about him.
She takes another puff, longer and more drawn out.
Lloyd furrows his brows. “That’s not good for you.” When she doesn’t answer, he asks, “How long have you been smoking? How many times a day?”
OR, harumi smokes, and she wants to try a couple new things with lloyd.

Harumi tugs his shirt off, hands trailing down his back. She drags her nails down his torso, leaving thin red lines. He shivers, though not uncomfortable. She’s fully in his lap now, legs wrapped around his waist. She cups his chin, thumb caressing his cheek. “I missed you,” she says quietly. “I missed you so much.”
OR, post merge, lloyd thinks about harumi more often than he’d like to admit. after weeks of denying himself what he wants, he goes and sees her.

Morro scrambled to regain his posture, his hand on the grip of his double bladed swallow. “I’m your best shot at getting your metal friend back, aren’t I?” He tried to say nonchalantly, but tension leaked into his tone. Nya faltered.
