The year is 1938. A German officer is sent to a remote monastery in Tibet to oversee a classified experiment. His orders are simple: observe, report, remain detached.
But the subject he’s assigned to, a young woman with no past and eyes that seem to remember everything, makes silence impossible.
Through his journal, duty begins to fracture into obsession. The line between witness and participant blurs. And in the stillness of the mountains, where science and faith have both lost their shape, one forbidden gaze threatens to unravel them both.
A psychological slow burn set against the isolation of pre-war Tibet, where control becomes a kind of worship, and love a dangerous form of remembering.
