Now, A little over a year later, with a song in her head and a cassette player in hand, Sunny strikes out into the world of capes, determined to become a hero and change the bay. Whatever happens, it won't be the same old story...

Specifically a hybrid model. Thus, Taylor becomes a Parahuman with a physical alteration that prevents her from hiding her nature. Specifically, the chunk of carbon in her stomach.
