There were three things Hitoshi Shinso knew before he joined Class 1-A:
1. He had no intention of making friends when he transferred to the hero course (or anything more than that for the matter).
2. He was prepared to adamantly refuse any attempts to form bonds and relationships, to remain stoic and silent in spite of their persistent ways.
3. He was firmly under the assumption that he was 100% straight before he stepped into that classroom.
Now let two more things be known:
He was not at all prepared for the resident sunshine incarnate of Class 1-A to smile at him when he walked in on a Monday morning.
Hitoshi Shinsou had one thought when he saw Denki Kaminari.

The masked man turned to him, stepping forward with leisurely cruelty.
"Ohh, what do we have here?" His voice was like gravel scraping glass. "The great healer’s runt. You've got your Inko’s eyes, boy. No wonder she disappeared from Caelumbra—hiding something precious." He grinned, revealing jagged yellow teeth. "Quite noble, wasn't she?"
"W-who are you?" Izuku's voice cracked. "How do you know my mom?"
The masked man stepped closer.
Izuku's legs trembled. His chest heaved. Every instinct screamed at him to run.
The man raised his other hand, claws gleaming, poised to strike—
BOOM!
A fiery explosion slammed into the masked man, sending him flying backward and releasing Izuku, who collapsed to the ground, coughing violently.
"Hey, dipshit," a harsh, gravelly voice barked from the shadows. "You picked the wrong night to piss me off."

OR: Izuku was living his life on earth but one fated night after his 18th birthday, a masked man appeared and killed his grandfather and two magical students came calling themselves as half-bloods went to save him.
It's a story of how Izuku discovered his magical destiny in UA Arcanum.

Izuku thought that doing a final venture inside the woods would be great before his field trip. Little did he know it would be his last decision before his life tipped sideways.
"If Izuku had any doubt that he wasn't inhuman, it would surely be crushed to dust by now. Wiping off the leftover blood on his face, Izuku isn't sure what to do with the remains. It's too mauled to still be considered a rabbit, fur and muscles shredded beyond recognition.
At least his headache went away.
At least his thirst quelled.
At least he tasted something.
And at least he has an answer for the monstrosity he has become.
He's a blood-sucking monster."
