    All Izuku has ever wanted was to be a hero. Thankfully, his family was supportive of that. His dad encouraged self exploration, and never tried to talk him out of following his dream. Izuku would forever be grateful of that.

    Its still just a bit awkward that following his dream meant facing off against his villain family. Only, Izuku thought that he would have a few years before that. Not just three days into his school career.

    Summary

    Being quirkless in today's hero society is the closest thing you can get to a legal death sentence. Most quirkless people choose to take their own life, if hate crimes don't kill them first.

    So when Izuku, who should be quirkless, finds out that he has a quirk after falling from a rooftop, it leaves him with more questions than he possibly has time to find the answers for. And if those answers lead to him making friends with people in and out of Yuuei, making some highly questionable and probably illegal choices, causing people to have mental breakdowns over their quirks and maybe even the start of another social revolution, well, at least he isn't trying to kill himself anymore.

    “Midoriya, what is this?”

    Aizawa was holding a piece of notebook paper that had been folded in quarters and tucked in the middle of a notebook. Izuku didn’t recognize it immediately, but when he got a glimpse of the sloppy handwriting, the blood drained from his face.

    “Oh my god. I’m so sorry, that shouldn’t be in there. I’m so glad you found it, I can’t imagine if Eri saw…”

    “Is this what I think it is?”

    Izuku swallowed around the lump in his throat.

    Aizawa had found his high school suicide note.

    When looking through Izuku's old analysis notebooks from high school, Aizawa finds the suicide note Izuku wrote in his second year at UA. He insists it's all in the past, but re-reading the note sparks some reflection for Izuku. Maybe he's not as okay as he thought.

It’s a beautiful sound, cutting through the atmosphere like something wild and carefree, accompanied by the feral grin curling his mouth. But Izuku hears it like the shattering of glass, or maybe that’s the sound of his heart breaking.

    Where his body used to turn away, Kacchan is now leaning closer to her, the distance between them collapsing centimetre by centimetre as the weeks stretch. And all Izuku can think is, I want to sit with you during lunch too. I want to make you laugh like that in front of everyone too.

    There's a new girl who keeps following Kacchan around. Jealous doesn't seem quite enough to describe what Izuku feels.
