Summary
Anger comes as a scorching feeling as it seeps into my chest; all-consuming, burning, vengeful, the smell of smoking entrails dragged for miles across dry and dying grass, leaving the noxious odor of smoldering carnage in its wake.
I’ve called my anger many things: irrational, spiteful, wicked, a bull, a butterfly, something I wish I could live without, something I wish I felt more often, if only just to feel something strong enough to make its presence known. But I think I’ve finally found the perfect comparison for my blossoming companion.
I think that my anger is like a crow.

“Patton?”
Patton jumped at the voice, nearly falling off his bed as Logan’s voice startled him out of his thoughts.
“Y-yeah?” Patton stuttered, internally cursing himself for not speaking clearly. Patton lifted his gaze from his pillow, turning his head to meet Logan’s concerned expression.
“Are you alright?” Patton’s roommate asked, his voice much softer and much more caring than his typical levelheaded, monotone, no funny business, way of speaking.
It was a voice that was reserved only for when Logan was concerned about someone he cared deeply for. Patton’s stomach churned with guilt as he realized that he was the reason that Logan was concerned. How selfish of Patton, making people worry for no reason. He was fine.
Patton was /fine/

Summary
If he had been alive, Adam Collins would have been sentenced to a minimum of 25 years in prison.
But instead of serving his time, paying for the consequences of his actions, he got to die as numb as he had been the day he first looked at his four year old child as an object for his own sexual pleasure. He was said to be a victim of depression and alcoholism after losing his dear wife Samantha Brown during childbirth.
It was time for that to change.
Patton knows that he will never be able to properly bring his father to justice for all the things he did, all of the things he still does, even in death. But he refuses to leave the words unsaid.
Patton had stayed silent far too many times.
Patton would make sure that every bird in this cemetery would be singing the tale of Adam Collins and his betrayal, every blade of grass would whisper tales of cowardice to their neighbors, and that the wind would carry the air of confession in the gentle autumn breeze.
Even if he would die with these words, Patton refuses to leave his part unspoken.

Patton has never had a solid definition of Home, but he could only hope that one day it could mean something more than this.

Summary
When he's finally tormented beyond repair, Midoriya Izuku breaks and breaks hard. He leaves his mothers house, since at 13, quirkless are considered adults, and spends the next few years staying out of the game. Finally giving up on his dream of being a hero, he becomes an analyst instead, earns the name "Glitch" from one of his only gaming friends, and gets raided after already being interrogated at school. They keep saying he's a villain? Which, mind, he's not. Making a deal with a rat leads him to UA's class 2-A, which is filled with actual criminals. All he wants is to be left alone, but if he has to pick a side... well, the heroes aren't very convincing...

Listen, all high school days suck, this one was just shaping up to suck more than literally all of the other ones ever. Namely, he was stuck in a class where not only was there a homophobic argument going on—as in, both sides are being homophobic and just debating on how best to be homophobic—but the teacher is doing literally fucking nothing to stop them.
